It's almost like you're insinuating there's no middle-ground between 6 and 100 turns, and that your average OU match doesn't last for around 20 turns. It doesn't have to be an OU match actually, just any replay of a well-structured team going up against a competent opponent. I swear to most of /vp/ competitive battling is just beating young kids and noobs with strategies that don't work against good players. That's not what competition is about. Leave that shit to the Showderp autists and improve your game.

Also I was in the 1700s before they changed the rating system so it's impossible to get below 1k, and I have no desire to ladder again for 100 turns each match doing the same thing over and over. I know what is considered "high level" and until you hit the very top of the ladder, it's essentially CTRL-C/CTRL-V over and over and over.

The "good" OU matches are the ones with McNezza getting mad at people who stall while being a stallfag himself.

It's more fun to show the lower-ladder fights because there you find people from all walks of life. Some people who don't know what to do, some who are karenfags and some who love to try out gimmick sets.

/vp/ is the laughingstock? I was unaware of this. I'm not surprised, but I would think other sites would get more derision than us.

I think I figured out the problem. You want to see people who are taking it seriously. And /cpg/ is probably the place to go. Threads like this is where we come to see the funnier sides of things.

Sure you may see a little column A and a little of column B in each thread, but we have different goals.

The best comparison I can think of is the cringe and ylyl threads on /b/. Sure you will see some overlap, but it's not the same thing.
