Do you think any other mons will get Gale Wings for a HA next game? Perhaps a new ability will come out with similar effect but for different types? I'd like to see one for Electric

OP here, that actually makes a lot more sense.. I have no problem countering smogonbird but the amount of people who use it as a crutch is pretty crazy. Thing is a beast

they can either reduce the base power of moves used with gale wings, or....well...that might be it. if they hadn't given talonflame brave bird it might have been okay.

yeah haha that would be an option i guess. it's too bad there is no way to remove brave bird. i guess they could just nerf brave bird itself...

they will probably nerf the ability though. the ability is the problem.

zapdos has no flying special moves (hp flying doesn't work due to mechanics)

articuno and moltres have hurricane (have fun missing) and air slash (low bp)

lugia has aeroblast so that'd be pretty good

ho-oh would be great, literally a straight upgrade from talonflame

There's so little you could give Gale Wings to and not have it be borked as fuck. Only the shittiest birds would not be OU with Gale Wings.
Swellow is the only one I can think of where it a.) makes sense and b.) isn't OP, because it's attack is about as bad as Talonflame's.

If it was given to actual good birds like Staraptor or Braviary (or even less-good birds like Dodrio or Unfezant), it would be completely broken.
