Dude, it is the easiest it's ever been this generation.
Regular = 1/4096
Friend Safari & Masuda Method + Shiny Charm = 1/512 (unaffected by shiny charm and you can't use the radar)
Other wise MM is approximately 1/683 on it's own.

I've found about 15 shinies this generation alone, and my usual number is 3 or less per generation.

I've got the shiny charm, I use a japanese 6IV ditto for every breed, and I EV train in hordes.

Still no shinies with almost 600 hours clocked...

Then force your will into the game. That's what I did the few times I bred for a shiny and I got one withing the first 50.
