crits aren't not a status condition so Drill Run is not affected by Sheer Force

Bulldoze is better suited as a utility move, not so much a primary means of attacking. Without the speed drops its virtually worthless.

Most Fairies are with Huge Special Defense and subpar Physical Defense. You're going to hit harder with Poison Jab even uninvested.

But that's all. Nidoking resists Mach Punch and most of the priority attacks are physical, so you should run it Naive (It doesn't resist any strong special attack anyway) 4 Atk/252 SAtk/252 Spe with Poison Jab instead of Sludge Wave.
You can nuke things with Sludge Wave anyway if you want, but that little buff works if you count fairies.

Take a look at the calcs. A physically defensive BOLD Florges. Most of them run Modest or Calm, and the same can be said about Togekiss, Clefable and other fairies.

The exception is Granbull but it's a clean 2HKO with Earth Power (Over 70% of damage)

Of course this is not true in Nidoking's case, as he can run EQ/Jab/Sucker punch/Sub or Ice punch which is not as good as the special set but it's an alternative.
