-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
When we last left our hero--that hero being you--you were knee-deep in a vat of despair, in the middle of a bloody stand-off between your starter Greninja, and a fully-evolved Quilladin, the original thorn in your side. Punted the fuck out, hardened by swamp life, and scarred by boiling water, his only goal nowadays is to end the feud between you, Greninja, and he.
As much as you want to end the rivalry on nice and respectable terms, Chesnaught is really making things difficult in that regard. On top of becoming a corrupted black knight who snatches 'shrooms from starving villagers just to sustain himself, he's also very, very, uncooperative.
And bara. Really bara buff tough guy. The contrast between he and Greninja is astounding, and as far as technical facts go, Chesnaught has the upper game here, the full-on advantage--corrupted knight against ascended-morality Robin Hood rogue. Perhaps the only thing missing from the hedgehog's arsenal is the Amie appreciation of a trainer who cares.
His only trainer has deceased, and he didn't really give two shits about her anyway. It's not like anyone did.
Being heavily bounced on is nothing to write home, especially for a dark paladin. Following up on Greninja's Bounce, Chesnaught retaliates with a sudden Dragon Claw, swatting the frog away with a draconic power.
"G-Gekkou!"
Greninja takes the hit directly but backflips to gain some recovery room. He then shoots out an Ice Beam to stall for time while he tends to the hit, that one's gonna smart, no doubt.
A) Use Waterfall!
B) Use Role Play!
C) Use Aerial Ace!
D) Use Taunt!
E) Use Protect!
