GF comes out with a new ability called Gear Slot

Gear Slot lets the pokemon hold two items instead of one. How broken does this become?

Also, Creative Abilities thread. the more broken the more we'll scald you for it.

Klinkklang's problem is its barren movepool though. Guy's a beast, but has to completely rely on Gear Grind, Wild Charge and fucking Return, of all things.

If it only had some more moves it'd easily be RU or even UU with its combination of very decent stats, typing and unique options.

the lack of reading comprehension in this thread is astounding. i'm pretty sure we'd only get one new pokemon line with this ability. the ability would be its whole gimmick, it's not like we're handing out this new ability to fucking every pokemon that already has abilities.

well why not fucking speculate about what kind of new mon would get it? hell there's myriad design concepts that could include having extra storage space, plus figuring out how to spread its stats without making it broken with all the options of two items available could prove entertaining enough. there's a specific idea presented in OP, why not work within it? especially since we've had countless "pokemon can now hold two items, how fucked is the meta?" threads already.

How to make these abilities not broken:

>Second Wind
Give it to the Pidgeot family. Basically, this gives it the Talonflame treatment of making it good just because if its ability.

>Gold Rush
Give it to Steelix. Tripling its speed would give it a base 90 speed stat, which isn't horrible. It wouldn't be OU, but still.

>Neutral
For the love of god, give it to the hitmon family. They'd become amazing checks to Talonflame.

>Decimate
The regis. Their HP stats aren't too high, and the abilities would be perfect as HA's.

>Unstable
The Porygons, and maybe Muk/Grimer. While the Porygon family likes Trace a lot, Unstable would make for an interesting different set. Muk and Grimer would just love it.

>Last Stand
Braviary. Another regional bird, but this one just works really well.

>Epidemic
I'm assuming this one is like Mummy, but with switching?
I think Beedrill would really like that ability, in that case. Or, even better, a Poke like Banette that has Destiny Bond.
