In the end, I thought that the game was beautiful (Ecruteak is so damn gorgeous with the Bellchime Trail and that dance theater) and immersive (hearing the sound of the wind, your footsteps, the flow of the water was fucking awesome) but it was somehow a semi-deception gameplay-wise.
-The Gym Leaders are a joke because of having almost Kanto-only teams (and the females are a triumvirat of bitches and cunts).
-The really good Johto Pokémon are only available in Kanto.
-Johto sharing the Indigo E4 with kanto is stupid as hell.
- The level scaling is awful.
-Grinding with the Pokégear is a fucking chore and even worst if you want to rematch Gym Leaders (Platinum was best for this with VS Seeker and battleground)
Soul Silver is the Pokémon game I had the least fun playing. At least, I met my favourite Pokémon, Mamoswine.
