I've only used him a few times but I ran into HP problems lack of recovery and just lack of relevance really. I don't know what the fuck this guy was doing but I had a +2 bullet punch from mega scizor that didn't kill my tyranitar.

That mono steel typing it's hard to find a good partner. I guess Jellicent would be cool. But then you're losing your mega slot.
