The gym is two rooms, the main room being an art gallery and the back room being the Leader's studio/arena. To get to the arena the Player has to flip switches underneath a series of paintings in a specific order.
The gym trainers or mainly Gentlemen/Socialite trainers admiring the art. They wont battle you if you talk to them but if you walk in front of their view of the paintings they'll challenge you for being "rude".

A large chateau surrounded by domesticated bee hives. Inside the gym all the trainers are Rich Boys and have at least one male Combee in their team. They try and stop you from "courting" their Queen.
There are "wild" Combees blocking the doors, to go further into the gym the player has to move large jars of honey to lure the combees away from the door to move forward. A room has 3 doors and one jar (can only lure one group of combees at a time) with only one correct door.

Before facing her gym the player will meet her again in the Ruins where she will give them a history lesson on the region's Legendary Pokemon and a Master Ball to catch it with.

The interior is like something out of a Salvador Dali painting. Sand dunes with a purple night sky overhead, there are beds strewn about with trainers sleeping in some of them.
If the player walks by the sleeping trainers too fast they will wake up and battle you. If you are too slow to make it to the gym leader then you risk a random Pokemon in your party falling asleep.
One of the empty beds has the TM for Sleep Talk hidden in it.

Neil used to be an active and lively trainer but when he sealed himself away in his gym he was rarely seen again and always at night. Even during the battle for the badge he'll stay asleep, waking only to give the player the badge if they defeat him.
At night he can be randomly found walking around the Gym.

Four separate areas; landfill area, oil spill (aquatic) area, toxic waste area, and smog area. In the landfill area, player must traverse over and through heaps of garbage. Wrong steps lead to slipping down the garbage heaps and into the sights of gym trainers dressed as trash men and collectors. Next, in the oil spill area, the player navigates through a burning oil spill on a raft with four directional buttons. The raft can not navigate through or over burning oil, thus creating the puzzle. Going the wrong way will result in a battle with a gym trainer in an old-timey diving suit. Third, the player must solve a puzzle similar to the ice dungeon puzzles in past games, but with toxic waste instead of sheets of ice. Mistakes result in battles with gym trainers in hazmat suits. Once the player has crossed the first three sections, he will enter an arena with thick, pungent smog hanging overhead. The smog clears away abruptly, revealing Dagmar, wearing a gasmask, and his Weezing (which has obviously just used Clear Smog). Dagmar gives a spiel about the environment and how pollution affets humans and Pokemon alike, and by the time he is finished, the smog settles back over the arena and he starts the battle.

Outside of the gym Dagmar is an avid environmentalist, and strictly against any form of pollution. When the trainer first enters his city, he appears behind him and stops him, scolding him for littering. He then hands him the item Leftovers, which he had assumed the trainer had dropped, then walks offscreen and is not seen again besides in his gym.

Built into a mountain side, the interior of the gym looks like a throne room that was carved and hollowed out of stone. There are statues of knights that prevent the Player from challenging the Gym Leader directly unless they prove they are "conquerors".
To do this they have to defeat 4 gym trainers who represent the four previous Rock Gym Leaders and have powered up versions of their teams.
Once you've "conquered" the other Gym Leaders the stone knights will move out of the way for the Leader to be challenged.

The interior of the gym is flooded with a heavy, purple fog that makes it hard to see. The player has to take a raft to hut where the gym leader. There is a series of blue-flame torches to guide you but some of the blue flames are trainers holding lanterns.

It's an indoor swamp with a castle at the center, surrounded by a moat of the mucky water like in the rainy route in XY. The muck is full of trainers that are invisible and poison type Pokemon, mostly Croagunk, Tentacool, and the rare Skrelp. The castle itself is just one room with Penny sitting on the throne. There are vines and such hanging from the ceiling, and there are pools of swamp muck on the floor for Tentacruel.

Known for being far more kind than the demeanor of her gym would suggest. Like most gym leaders, she's highly respected in her town. She helps fight the evil team with the player and the player learns she was once a member of the evil team herself, but was reformed. She and the player meet fairly early, around the second gym, where she explains the evil team's goals and such.

The Gym is an open pit diamond mine (like Ekati), a pit with five layers, the last one being where the Gym Leader stands.
There are at four necessary trainers to beat, since they stand in front of the "stairs" to the next layer.
The Gym being outside (like Cheren's), there's a sandstorm that brews.

A large theater where the Player has to get up on the catwalk a direct three spotlights (red/blue/green) to the center stage to make one giant white spotlight. This will cause the curtains to part and Prima to take the stage.
There are trainers in the audience and on the catwalk as obstacles. The audience will applaud as Prima takes the stage and if you challenge her before their applause is over she will call you rude and will be more aggressive in battle. If you let the applause finish she will be more defensive.

The gym is built into a seaside cave, the interior has black sand and sharp rocks jutting out of the water.
The player has to climb up up the rocks when the tide comes in or they will be washed back to the beginning of the gym. If they stay on the rocks too long the strong wind will knock an item off a random Pokemon in their party.
The Gym Leader waits on the wreckage of an old ship in the back of the cave/gym.
