Battle spot singles on Showdown? Also, who the hell runs Disable on Gengar without Substitute? You sub to either scout status or take a hit and disable next turn to get a free turn when they try to hit you with the same attack and prevent them from hitting you with the same attack for a few turns while you recup the sub cost with Black Sludge. If they tried to status you, pelt them with Shadow Ball/Sludge Bomb.

I run sash in doubles, base 110 is fast enough to disable common threats and obvious moves.
rock slide etc
nobody is going to double target gengar when they have sp on kang so it usually ends up as a free turn
sorry kid but you dont always have to do what smogon tells you.

Except that Disable on Gengar is 100% smogon approved. The only difference is that subbing before using Disable makes the tactic signficantly more effective in singles which is what I thought he was playing since he never said it was doubles.

He also said it wasn't cart, so have fun acting superior for no reason.
