The previous couple times I'd gone to Nintendo World releases, I was able to just show up maybe an hour after it started, walk right in without a line, and still get all of the giveaways. So the X/Y line was disappointing. And I live close enough that it's no big deal to go there, check out the line, and turn around, so that's what I did.
