its not in theory its just that physical ghost types suck because their best move is shadow punch so he cant actually run any tank set without being outclassed

Honestly it's not about Shadow punch

I've been running him as support and he's perfect for the role. Eviolite is great but, I prefer having healing off to the side. And that design.

Yeah, and I've seen those Unown sweeps on Youtube, as well. Doesn't mean Unown is good, it means:

1) They used a shittonne of support for it.
2) Their opponent sucks, and they are good.
3) They got lucky.

Usually a combination of the above.

That doesn't invalidate falling on the good size of chance. Sure, it evens out and skill shines the larger your sample is, but that one unlikely event may be the difference between ~EBIN SUHWEEP~ and you getting completely fucking annihilated, as you would with the same two players in a huge sample of games.

Dusknoir can't learn Shadow Claw. The only physical ghost moves it gets are Astonish, Shadow Sneak, and Shadow Punch.

Remakes have a tendency to expand some shallow movepools though, so who knows.
