You're shittily trying to justify things that outright don't have justifications and using those non-justifications to argue against an entirely hypothetical suggestion that would tremendously help the Pokemon both competitively and fits just as well flavor-wise.
The fucking Mystic Pokemon getting Magic Guard. It's an Antlion, a bug, that resembles a Dragonfly, giving it as much justification as Mega Denryu being Electric/Dragon.
