You know what the problems with megas are? They're supposed to be these awesome superforms, but every single mega always gets a +100 BST increase regardless of what its BST is currently.

So you get pokemon like Garchomp and Ttar who now have BSTs that exceed most box legendaries, and you have pokemon like mega Mawile which started with a sub 400 stat total and now has a sub 500 one, that's less than most regular pokemon.

Of course, Mega Mawile is really fucking good, because unlike Ttar and Garchomp Gamefreak minmaxxed Mawile to hell and back, giving it pure power which gives it a pseudo-base stat of 259 if you reverse engineer the value after the boost. Abomasnow has a terrible jack of all trades stat spread, so he has to get a 30 point speed reduction for his offences to be usable.

Why Gamefreak has decided to simply give everything a mega evolution when plenty of the pokemon that got them have neither the BST or the visual design of a fully grown pokemon baffles me. Plenty of pokemon like Mawile, Sableye, Manetric and Banette would've been perfectly justified getting a normal evolution.
