Respectively one of the best trainers in the anime, James has a kind heart and always makes a point to have a great friendship with his pokemon. On multiple occasions he has tried starting a new leaf and is a good guy at heart. I believe that if James walked away from Jesse and meowth he could achieve a lot of great things.
