Intimidate and Trace happen before anyone takes a turn, you can't Protect because it doesn't give you a chance. And it being a passive effect, as soon as the Protect drops then it would happen anyway.

There needs to be attacks that go through protect. It shouldn't be a free turn just for clicking it. Don't even say feint, because it's barely worth running, and phantom force is 2 turn so the opponent will just switch anyway.

It'd be a pretty nice buff if any of these happened. The latter 2 would be GG Stall and Baton Pass teams.
