There are two animes based off it, one by the same name (2003), and FmA: Brotherhood.
Brotherhood is widely considered one of the best anime of all time and certainly better than the 2003 version, but I'd recommend watching them chronologically because you'll get so much more out of it that way.
10/10 - would recommend again.
