>>21125021Yeah. The reason I love Hoenn is the fact that after the first badge pretty muh every route is completely different from the one before it. The huge variety made it feel like you were progressing so much more each time you entered a new area. There's a real sense of adventure.
The snow route in Sinnoh (which is completely different from the 70% regular grassland routes Sinnoh is comprised of) is the only route after Hoenn that has that same sense of adventure. The recent games focus more on "traveling with friends" rather than a lonesome adventure, which I think is fine, but definitely not as good as the lonesome journey.
