You're absolutely incorrect on some aspects.

From someone who has been inside the data itself we have evidence that supports six games for this Gen (Gen 6)

4 have already been announced
X/Y
OR/AS
???/???

There will be a few more pokemon, not a big deal but they'll be alternate forms.
The story is going to elborate on Az and the new locations will be focused on Kalos Lore which have been detailed in the Anime so far and the game will be coinciding with the Anime (like always) so just wait for a little longer (12 or so episodes) and the game will be announced.

Also secrets in OR/AS are expected to have ties in to the story with Az and others.

By the way, the game IS going to be either XZ, YZ, or X2 Y2

We can also possibly accept a Z. Zygarde and Rayquaza are suspected to have a tie in, by the way, and Rayquaza will be showing up in OR/AS + Pokemon Delta.

That's all we know and have speculated.

I'm hyped for Z/X2Y2. I'm curious to see what role Zygarde is going to play in this, plus isn't there two unreleased moves that are his? I'm also looking forward to being able to catch Hoopa and Volcanion, plus I can imagine the Battle Frontier from OR/AS is going to be in it. Add the BF, another Looker post-game quest, and some news areas to the region and that would be great.

Delta is a stand alone game, by the way, but isn't a pairing. In that regards that would be seven games, but many continue them continuations. OR/AS expansions, so it really depends on how you look at it.

I loved B/W2 but I loved Emerald and Platinum even more, especially the former. Third games > sequels.
