I just MM'd a shiny one and been using Dragalge pretty much since Day 1. Its a big part of the reason why I got Y version to begin with. At least with me the love isn't gone. However when it gets adaptability it'll get a popularity bump for awhile.

I still like skrelp and dragalge, but they're just fucking awful. I'm waiting for the day that their HA gets released, because I really want to use one.

Hopefully GF wont retcon its HA into something shitty, like what they did with a few other pokemon

Zapdos got static instead of lightning rod. It isnt even released yet, but that raises the question as to why they changed it in the first place.

Chandelure got Infiltrator instead of shadow tag. (I can totaly understand why they did this though. Shadow tag is bullshit)

Will Adaptability Dragalge really be that good? I can appreciate 260 Draco Meteors, 180 Sludge Bombs, and 190 Waves but it still seems too slow and not quite bulky enough to be effective even with that.

It's more than that. Read it's description. STAB moves get a 2x boost, rather than the normal 1.5x.

Some people got hyped for Dragalge. But most of it went to Goodra when Goomy/Sligoo was revealed as the pseudo and everyone thought it would be Poison/Dragon instead of Dragalge.

That's the same thing. they regularly have 1.5x BP, adaptability multiplies that by 1.33(repeating; 4/3) for a total of 2x.

1.5 x 1.33 = 2
