I think the the UK has a better shot at being the next region though. Mainly because the northern part of France, that is, Kalos, is very nearby and actually connected through an underwater tunnel. In any other case I wouldn't claim there being joined regions again, but this particular case seems something GF might be interested on exploiting.
Personally, I'd like to see the next regions being all based on the Mediterranean countries, that is, Greece, Italy, Morocco, Turkey, Spain, Egypt... It would make for very interesting games imho. After all all these places are very unique both in their geography, culture and have a vast biodiversity.
