Why can't /vp/ realize that pokemon like Shedinja and Unown will still suck even if they get Mega Evolutions.
Ditto and Wobuffet would potentially be even worse.

The only way to "fix" them is to give them some extremely broken, complex and gimmicky ability, and we all know they only do that for box legendaries.

Ghost/Dark still keeps with the theme. The Mega would be so far gone it's not even a bug anymore, it's just consumed by the darkness in its back. Electric makes no sense unless it's my Electric-type Shedinja in the randomizer I'm playing.

Dude, at 1HP it dies to stealth rock. Period. Wonder guard doesn't work like that.

Wonderguard gains protection from non-attacking moves like Magic guard does.

No longer dies instantly to Poison, Burn, sandstorm, hail and more importantly, Rocks and Spikes.

They actually have to hit it with a super effective attack. Even with focus-sash for surviving two hits, how OP does this make Shedinja?

No it isn't. Sturdy Shedinja is a complete immunity to direct attacks, only killable by indirect damage. It's better than wonder guard in every way.

I have to wonder how multi-hit moves would interact with Sturdy Shedinja's HP.

The first hit breaks Sturdy, but Shedinja's HP is still full. Would it activate for each hit, leaving Shedinja unharmed?

Yes. Sturdy on shedinja is ALWAYS in tact. Multihit moves break sturdy 5 times, and yet it's still in tact. It's literally an immunity to direct attacks.
