>>21154858it's not all black and white, people can like something of a game and dislike other things, but defending poor decisions as "perfectly balanced stuff" when it's clearly not (hell, one must be blind to think the game is balanced overall).
What I'm talking about, for example, is that's not a good game design decision when you have Pokémon that have, let's say, a 120 attack that was once considered "a huge attack stat" but now is just "meh" and leaving them as they are and at the same time making stuff with 190 attack, retardedly broken abilities or 700 base stats to already strong Pokémon. I'm okay to fix Pokémon like Kangaskhan or Mawile, but there's fixing and there's going way over the line.
On the other hand I'd rather have Charizard as a NU Pokémon, but still greatly advertised by Gamefreak outside of the game, than being showed blatant favoritism within the games (same goes for stuff like Lucario, Tyranitar, Garchomp, etc).
Power creep has always been there to an extent, I think, but in my opinion it's getting way too huge to be ignored now.
