callum put same effort that he puts on the mono tourneys, the thing is you need a lot extra effort to arrage 4 people in maybe different timezones and make them battle, not counting the connection problems that could happen, so yeah anyway were almost 2 months from oras.

Yeah, multis are always a pain in the ass to set up, especially so with different time zones and all. It really shouldn't be surprising that issues pop up with this format, as unfortunate as it is. It's mainly a people problem rather than organization, but hopefully we get a decent amount of the battles done.

I think the main reason was that he just went "okay, everyone sort out your own battles". There's no motivation to get them done soon, there's no contact info to try and organize a time with other opponents, etc. It's just lazily organized.

He did everything he should have done. It's your own responsibility to schedule your battles, he shouldn't have to hold your hand. This tournament was wholly run via 4chan, you have your medium, so use it. If you want, you can post alternate contact info.

The only thing he does for mono that he didn't do here is pair matchups, but that wasn't necessary for this, and designated rounds would in fact make it more restrictive and more lengthy.

The breakdown in this tourney is the participants' own lack of impetus to get in touch and schedule matches.

My only recommendation would be to add team members' email addresses to the scoreboard doc. I'll suggest it to Callum, perhaps he can set up a form to submit this additional info and he'll throw it into the doc.

I would say this is a fair criticism.

Play with standard rules or flat rules, everything is 50 at highest, but i think with standard rules anything below 50 will stay at that level. Never accept no restriction battles, because its usually some shithead kid with crappy level 100 stuff. No way to get everything up to 100 without leveling them all the way i'm afraid.

What's the difference between standard and flat? Or more importantly, which ones don't allow "big" legends? Because that's just no fun.

Flat rules is 3v3 and the same thing you play on battle spot and the maison, standard is 6v6. Standard is also the one that lets you bring whatever the hell you want, it just level caps at 50. If you wanna avoid the big legends, flat rules is probably what you want. Also, it is flat rules that lets you use pokemon below level 50, standard makes them all 50, i just double checked.

Flat and Standard multis have the same number of pokemon. It's not 3v3 and 6v6.
