Hey guys im currently MMing until i hatch my shiny. Just wondering whats the largest or smallest amount of eggs you guys have hatched until you got your shiny?

I got a shiny Solrock in less than a box in Platinum. Longest was like a week and a half for a Magikarp, also in Platinum. It's all luck really, although since the rate got halved in X/Y you'd probably get quicker results. Just bear in mind it is all luck. The shiny charm will help too though.

I remember buying a 2nd hand copy of pokemon diamond and there was a shiny zubat on there so i traded it to a friend then back to my new game :) I also have a few shinys from trades but they were probably hacked. i have never got one on my own yet,

Keep trying. You'll get one eventually. Hell if you EV train a lot in hordes you're guaranteed to get them. I got 3 shiny Whismurs in like 4 days once.

Shortest was my first egg when breeding Timburr; wasn't even going for a shiny, just a female for future egg move breeding.

Longest had to be Froakie, don't have a specific number but it took a LONG time and I wound up getting 2 with HA in the same box.

I got three boxes of Buneary Eggs. Got my shiny within the first box. You never know when it'll happen. It literally took only a few hours.

Thing is it's got the Klutz ability. What kind of moves could I give to put this ability to good use?

Shortest outing was 18 eggs

Longest outing was an epic month of hatching for a shiny male Ralts with it's HA which was 6105 eggs and it was my 17th hatched shiny Ralts.
I was using a female Ralts to pass the HA and I have the shiny charm yet it still took that long for the planets to align and get me a shiny with the right gender and ability.

Shortest was 2nd egg on a bulbasaur. Only had max def, sp.atk, sp.def. So I boxed it I like normal Venusaur better anyway.

Longest is the one I have been going on for 2 weeks. I've hatched 2 in that time period but an espeon with 6 speed or 2 special attack wont cut it for me.

It varies. I got a shiny Mawile without even wanting it in like 10 eggs but I'm trying for a Porygon and it's been like 300-400 eggs so far.

At around 250 eggs for Jolly Ralts right now, trying to get a shiny one for M-Gallade in ORAS. Tedious as fuck, especially considering there's a 50% chance of failure because of gender.

I don't even care if all its IV's are perfect at this point. As long as it gets perfect attack or speed I'll be happy.

Shortest: 1 box. Got 2 shiny Froakie out of it. One male, one female, both with Torrent.
Longest: 22 boxes. Ended up being a Flawless shiny Skrelp. Still one of my favourite shinies to date.

Shorted was a shiny clauncher missing HP. It was 7. I dealt with it, really can't complain when I got one with 5ivs with 0 in attack in the same box. Don't really have a longest, I give up after about 5-600 eggs. I didn't hatch 2 shiny bellsprouts for a mixed sweeper on my sun team. First one had 5 in speed. Second one had 26 special attack. Best part is, hidden power electric. Not the BEST hidden power, but I taught over weather ball for it.

I literally have never been able to hatch a shiny Pokemon with the masuda method. I've been trying somewhat casually for the last few years when I started playing Pokemon again and started with Pearl because I stopped playing around then.

Literally fucking never. Even with the Shiny Charm in Gen 5.

I'm not sure which one to classify as the quickest. I got a shiny Chespin after MMing 7 eggs. Some time before, I went through like 4 boxes of MMing Fennekin eggs and hatched two shinies in a row somehow. I am still blown the fuck away by that happening.

Longest: Just over 1,000 eggs to get a shiny Litwick in White. Holy shit, I just about never tried breeding for a shiny again after that.

I caught a Gabite in a friend safari after like 45 min. It took me 100+ eggs a pice to get a shiny Furfrou, Goomy, Panchamp
I'm trying to get a shiny Fletchling now. I'm using 6IV Dittos so i guess 100-200 isn't too much. Some people have to hatch 1,000s of eggs and don't anything. I just don't count the eggs anymore.

1 for Feebas. Did it unknowingly by breeding i think off the top of my head a japanese blastoise and a english milotic. Though i may be wrong about blastoise.

A few minutes ago I hatched my first shiny ever by Masuda method. A shiny mudkip. At first I was very excited, it was my first and it took less than ten eggs to hatch a shiny. It's adamant and has some egg moves, had a high chance to have all perfect IVs, but when I got it to the judge to check its IVs turned out it's "relatively superior" and has three perfect stats. I leveled it up to calculate the other stats and found out it has the attack stat between 3 and 9. The happines is gone. I don't want to be so perfectionist, I want to love it and use it as my majestic starter in ORAS. If someone could say something or share a similar feeling or experience I'd appreciate a lot.
