Think of a Pokémon that already has a Mega Evolution. Give it an Alternate Mega evolution like Charizard and Mewtwo has. What would it's stats and ability be to differentiate it from it's current Mega.

Look at the post. Defensive + steel + lightningrod. It is now only weak to ground and fighting and can compensate with physical bulk, and KOs ground types anyway. Steel gives it STAB flash cannon + potential Lrod boosts, and a shit ton of resists. It's basically what Empoleon wishes it could be.

Still makes me mad... I get Gyarados is the Atrocious Pokemon, but Water/Dark is just a shit typing. Only good thing about it is he isn't quad weak to Electric anymore, but he still picks up three new weaknesses because of it. On top of that, he doesn't even get a decent stab move to help it.
