That said, ignoring that, it'd be pretty useful on occasion. I don't really care about the sex of my Pokemon unless they're stand-ins for a character from a different medium, but it'd be great for breeding.

What's the best to pair up with Ditto to breed a 5IV shiny Larvitar, a 5IV with the spread I need or just a 6IV ? IV mechanics always seemed a little obscure to me.
