The biggest point against it was when they showed off contests and the game displays a 2D version of your character in contest clothes. If customization were in it would be way easier just to show the character's 3D model.

Yes you could change your Avatar in X and Y to a Trainer Class, but please take note
when you went into a battle it would show your actual trainer (and not the Trainer Class Avatar).

Sky battles were kinda cool, but should have been done differently. My idea, way before X and Y came out, was to have Fly act kind of like Dive. An extra world in the clouds where you travel much faster, but can encounter wild Pokemon and trainers alike.

Ok yeah, I was wrong on that part. We have a lot more and Nintendo still seem to think that both sexes can't have something remotely more close to the opposite sex. At least it was a start.

Yeah, it would be nice to see more unisex stuff.
Like it doesn't make sense why some of the hats can't be worn by both sexes.

I assume that they made all the female customization options first, and then started working on males. But by then they were running out of time, and realized that it would take way too long to give males as many options.

It really sucks being a guy that likes character customization. ;_;

I was baffled when no one was talking about it or keen. I was like that's balls. Not knowing what it looks like is an okay choice, seeing as both games get it, or perhaps they will reveal it in the future before the game releases (like they do with about 75% of the content of new games.. -,- )

but yeah. There was a pretty dead give away.
