I'll start here--Why is the metagame so physically based?

It seems like prior to gen V special sweepers were OP as fuck, and now it's the reverse.

Also, Why does GF Hate Electrics?

Why do the electric type pokemon suck for the most part?
>few decent electric moves aside from Tbolt
>no decent physical electric attacks
>all the physical electric pokemon are crippled by some lame stat, or no good moves

What types of pokemon to you want to see next gen (in the metagame sense)
I'm hoping for some decent mixed electric pokemon, or decent electric moves
