• Volcanion will never be released in Gen6

Yeah, I do remember the Whiscash, Skrelp, Porygon episodes worldwise and the Safari Zone one in the Western television.
Not aware if something happened during the last earthquake and tsunami tragedy beside the obvious and justified anime delays.

Hoopa looks like something that would enjoy a Sticky Web support and Substitute. Without it a Choice Specs/Scarf set is the only thing I can see on it.

In any case in the current metas it would have a discrete ammount of C&Cs.

Even if this will happen in the future metas Doublade will need to drop an important move between Rest and a stabto add Pursuit. Because otherwise only Shadow Sneak would check and force Hoopa to switch out.

Doublade can't even safely switch at all on an attacking Hoopa. Dark types should scare Hoopa more than Doblade.

The Hoenn mascots are a weather trio, the golems are a trio related to the planet ages and have a fourth master, the minor trio is also related to the main weather and ocean and earth shaping and creation.

Same happens with the Kanto birds and Lugia and the Johto beasts and Ho-Oh.

Little is known about the last 3 minor legendaries of Kalos however unlike with Yveltal, Xerneas and Zygarde (and its possible forms), there is still a chance those are somehow related.

Rayquaza is to Groudon/Kyogre what Regigigas is to Regirock/Regice/Registeel.
the latter are equivalent/opposites in terms of stats, abilities, concepts...
while the former is an extra member that is supposed to be superior in most of those aspects rather than their equal.

If you give any fuck about consistency, you have to call the golems a quartet and the others the weather trio
OR
call the golems a trio with a "master" and the weather guys a duo with a master.

It's one or the the other.

Actually those three are Paris symbols, Volcanion is the Louvre pyramid and Paris Egyptian obelisk, Diancie is a tribute to the fictional jewel called Pink Panther and Hoopa is based on those romas that are everywhere in Paris and France.

Yes, the Kalos minor trio is known as the Paris Trio.

Volcanion is Heatrans cousin/counterpart before anything else.
weird quadruped Fire/defensive-type thing that's about heat. Even its stats make it seem like an slightly redistributed Heatran.

Hoopa is it's own thing.
