Hello everyone! I very rarely post on /shw/ however, today I am here to help motivate and encourage you all. Lately I was having poor luck ask of the time, in real life and in pokemon, however 2days ago I finally got the shiny charm, and just yesterday, I found 3 shinies. So if i can find 3in one day, you guys can hatch as many as you want, Good luck!
>First was an Onix in the friend safari, Lax, HA, perfect IVs in Atk and SpAtk
>second was a Gligar in a horde, shit so a nice trophy

Good morning /shw/
I reached Box 40 last night on my Chespin ride. Slowly losing hope since this is now my longest hunt so far.
I did manage to find these two during the week though. I found Politoed in a Poliwag horde while trying to find a shiny Foongus or Lombre for my Grass Harem in the Pokemon Village, but came out with her instead. Sawsbuck was found in the Safari, so nothing worthwhile to talk about.

But I am going to take a break from this weekend, though. Super Smash calls!

Never had one, so why not? It's also for a slight change of pace(I've also tried getting shiny female Swablu and Audino in the past, I will get back to them next). I'm also growing Enigma berries as part of a Wonder Trade plan with 51 female Eevees, so until I get enough of them grown, this will help me kill some time in game.

Mine is a female HA Eevee with Covet, Charm, Wish and Yawn, so I'm good. I have a Japanese male Mawile with 6IVs hanging with her.

The nearly 9,000 step hatch setup, along with the 1/8 female ratio I could never wrap my head around(The later because of the annoyance when involving abilities mainly).

Popular method seems to be taking the pokemon to that battle facility in Lumiose city, whatever it's called. It levels your pokemon to fifty, and you just put in IVs into a calculator. You can just google IV calculator to put the stats in.

Otherwise there is a person who will tell you perfect IVs in Kiloude city.

If you're talking about the high-tempo fiesta music that pops up sometimes, it means there's a bigger chance of getting an early chain shiny when the music is playing. Once it changes back into the normal chaining music the odds return to normal.

Nowadays powersaves can manipulate IVs as well, so getting your ideal hidden power and max IVs on shinies is much easier.

It still can't change a regular mon into a shiny one without editing its OT number though, so if someone has a shiny mon and a non-shiny one with the same OT but a different OT number it's easy to identify the cunt as a hacker.

Cresselia on White 2, technically Treecko on Y since I’m using it to complete the Pokedex by putting them on GTS

Cresselia has broken 4,400 SRs, so it’s past Virizion now. Treecko at three or four boxes? It’s hard to tell since they are used for GTS purposes so the number is always getting depleted.

Cresselia has a nice shiny, I guess. It’s honestly my least wanted shiny when it comes to what I’m hunting for the moment, I’d rather SR for Registeel after getting this one. Treecko is cute and wouldn’t mind getting a shiny of it, even though I’m not actively hunting for it. It’d be just a great bonus since it’s technically MMing.

You only need around 60 speed EVs or so to outspeed timid Greninja, you can invest 252 in SpAtk and the rest as bulk. I think I have around 50hp and 110 def to tank Jolly Garchomp Dragon Claw.

And of course Dusk Balltism
Earth power is a gen V tutor, passes as egg move.

Hey /shw/. I was the guy (or rather, one of them) who was hunting for a shiny Venipede for the past few weeks. Once I hit 1000 eggs, I was ready to quit.

Two batches later, the shiny finally hatched. Speed Boost and all. I'm pretty happy. She's now a pretty cool Scolipede.

This happened a couple of days ago on the 2nd. I don't have any pictures either but I'm glad that the ride is finally over. I don't think I'm going to MM anything again for a long while.

Well firstly, you don't wanna' worry TOO hard about that. In fact, the time you save by doing it is non-existent if you already have the Oval Charm.

The idea is that you hatch 3, deposit/release, so that as you collect more eggs, you're already halfway done hatching the other 2. Because of this, you have a constant flow of eggs hatching/generating.

But like I said, it's not that important, and only really saves you time if you don't have the Oval Charm.

People all have their preferred methods. Some people circle Lumiose, and some prefer to just bike outside of day care. That egg collecting method is just optional to help people who don't yet have the Oval Charm.

My shortest hunt has been half a box, and my longest has been more than fifty. My current one is at 13 and I'm still just breeding for IVs. It's all luck, but I'd say the average number with a shiny charm is probably around 15 or so.

It doesn't take me long to get good IV's because I have 6IV Dittoes for every nature, but it might take 58 or so boxes to get this shiny. Breeding for the egg moves was troublesome enough. Like I said. I just don't know a hard days night of looking for shiny pokes.

I'd like to make a very late post to this thread. Although the weekend is over i'd like to happily announce that around 11:40 p.m or so on sunday night I finally ran into shiny moltres!
This took 18.5-19k SRs so i'm really happy this ride is over.

It’s part of the reason if I SR for legendaries, I make sure to carry a master ball. Just as an ultimate last resort, fortunately for my last SR it got caught in a different ball so I have an extra master ball for another legendary to SR. I’m too paranoid about it struggling to death to deal with it otherwise.

Yeah, you’re a lot braver. No matter how much I want another legendary shiny, if I don’t have a master ball I just don’t even attempt. The thought is too nerve-wracking for me. I don’t live on the edge. It’s another reason I avoid safari zones from previous gens like the plague. I’ve never experienced losing a shiny and I don’t want to start. Sucks about your regigigas
