This 10-year-old rookie and his recently gathered team made it into the top 6% of every trainer who competed in a professional world renowned tournament, and he only lost because half of his team was injured in a previous battle with Team Rocket and his Charizard was a jerk. And that isn’t even taking into account the trainers who doubtlessly didn’t make it into the tournament!

To put this idea into perspective, if you made it into the top 4% of all student grades while taking your SATs, you would be qualified for the running to get into Harvard. You know, this person has a pretty good point.

Have you guys noticed Pokemon is a kids anime but gives like the worst model to look up to? If kids in the past looked up to Ash as their "role model" and saw how much of a loser he is losing league after league after 15 years, this really gives a bad role model to kids. It pretty much tells kids that your dream can never happen since your role model couldn't. Pokemon is one fucked up anime ruining kid's dream.
