Introduce Dark and Steel type
Introduce Quagsire
Introduce a pseudo-legendary with Dark type
SPA and SPD split!

Gen III
>Psychic type still too stronk!
Introduce a pseudo-legendary with Steel type

Gen IV
>Dragon is neglected!
>Electric type counters too few!
>Pyschic is still too stronk!
Introduce Garchomp and Lucario
Introduce Gastrodon

Gen V
> Dragon pokemon is not loved by GF!
> Steel too!
> Tried to buff earlier-gen mon by giving it new hidden abilities
Introduce many outstanding mon, including Ferrothorn, Haxorus, Bisharp, and others

The result:

> Fire type too stronk! (Blaziken only)
> Fighting type too stronk!
> Dragon type too stronk!
> Steel type too stronk!

GF’s retarded solution:
> Let’s invent Mega Evolution to balance it!
> Nerf Steel!
> Nerf Dragon by introducing a new type!
> Nerf Fighting!

Worst result by far:
Gen VI
> Overpowered Deer-God
> Ridiculously powerful flaming bird
> Almost un-counter-able Kangaroo, Jackal, and Fighting Chicken
> Steel got forcibly taken down in usage


GF tried to balance the metagame in every generation but fails miserably by hindsight.
