I've been breeding for a Pumpkaboo. I've managed to get a penta-perfect female one, although it has Pickup. Is it worth breeding for another one that has one of the other two abilities? Also is there any way to guarantee what ability the offspring has?

Female has 80% chance to pass down her ability. I think it's 60% for HAs.

yeah, pickup is the worst ability of the family. i'd say frisk is the best, not that there's any real competition.

Frisk is definitely the best.

Pumpkaboo became a utility mon for me.

Frisk/Thief means heart scales and lucky eggs are easy enough to procure.
Worry seed means that finding hidden ability mons in horde battles are easier to locate.
Trick or Treat means that you can potentially protect a mon in a horde battle from dying from a neighboring explosion.
