>>21214753DnD monsters? Let's see:
>DragonsWe have dragons as an actual type, so that is a lot of overlap with DnD monsters, but if you want to go with the classic red dragon, Charizard is
unfortunately your best bet.
>Fey/FairyJust like Dragon, we have a lot of overlap here. Flabébé or Floette would be the best representation.
>OozesAnimated cum like Muk and Grimer
>ConstructsGolems and shit like Golurk, Claydol and the Regis.
>AberrationThe "weird" type of monsters, like Sigilyph could totally be seen as aberrations of some kind. Then again, you could argue that all Pokémon are aberrations.
>AnimalsDo I even need to say it?
>ElementalsPokémon such as Vanilluxe, Cryogonal, Avalugg and other mons that are literally made from their elements could embody this type. The examples above would have the Cold subtype too.
>GiantsHariyama, Kangaskhan and some of the megas are the tallest non-serpentine or draconic Pokémon. They are not tall enough, but I guess they are serviceable enough.
>Undead/Plant/VerminGhost, Grass and Bug types.
>HumanoidsI'm not sure if we actually have any good examples here. Our more humanoid Pokémon are actually closer to Monstrous Humanoids or Aberrations than true Humanoids. Jynx?
>Magical BeastLike aberrations, you could argue that most Pokémon are magical beasts. Only that you would be hard pressed to argue for some of the more... exotic creatures like Voltorb or Trubbish. Some good examples would be Rapidash , Ninetales or Shaymin.
>Monstrous HumanoidAny Human Form (or human-like) Pokémon could be seen as a monstrous humanoid or an aberration. Gardevoir is closer the the latter while Delphox is the former.
>OutsidersExtraterrestrial like Deoxys, Celebi or Mew can be argued as Outsiders due to their extra-planetary nature. Others can also be argued this, like the legendary beasts, since they are similar to denizens of the planes, like the legendary beasts.
