Here's my idea for its new ability:

Omnitype: Just before an opponent attacks, Arceus will change type, becoming a type that resists the incoming attack. It will also change type before attacking, and become the same type as the move it uses.

Put simply, it's Protean + and improved Color Change. Every move Arceus uses has STAB, and it resists every attack that hits it.

I think the ability should only activate once per turn. Well, once to attack, once to take a hit. There might be some strategy involved in double battles where you can score a super effective hit.

Overpowered as fuck, but that's the point.

Oh, and Judgment will copy Arceus' current type. You could go Stealth Rock > Rock-type Judgment.

I don't fancy missing out on exclusive Formes/Mega Evos/Whatever the new gimmick is, but I guess I don't have a choice, since this bullshit is fucking inevitable.

They aren't going to remake D/P/Pt because its already on a DS cart.

FR/LG will be sooner be remade than any kind of Gen 4 game.

the only gen that doesn't have phy/sp split are the gen 1 games and their remakes.
