Most supplementary material for the games simply refer to Pokemon of unmarked sex as having an "unknown gender", as opposed to not having one at all. See: Pokedex 3D, various licensed game guides, etc.
In Golett's case, it's a man-made Pokemon...said to run on a mysterious supernatural energy. If it did have a sex - or was even "alive" to begin with - it'd be pretty damn hard to tell.
