I bought a 2DS and a copy of Y for my brother on release day after downloading X form the eshop, and the girl working at the counter she was about a 5.5/10 stopped me from leaving the counter just to show me how many hours she had put in on a copy that her manager allowed her to play from midnight that day. A couple of other guys there also struck up a conversation with me as I was walking out telling me they had dropped by just to pick up a copy. I got some friend codes and didn't spill spaghetti anywhere that day.

If no one there is a Pokemon fan and someone behind the counter says anything insulting to you (which never happens), just crack a joke and walk away.
