Latios, Greninja, and Tyranitar is fair enough.
But nobody, and I mean NOBODY, can genuinely like Rotom Wash. Ugly as a pimple on a dick; it has to be the worst design of any Pokémon to date. The fact it's fantastic competitivly is just insult to injury.

To be fair, smogons sets are only what works the best in the current metagame most of the time. Even if you try making 'LE EBBIN GIMMICK SET EXX DEE' you'll soon enough end up using a standard set as it works the best more often.

The genies are probably my favorite legendary trio. Dragon Quest made me fond of recolors. I haven't actually tried using them on any of my teams.

I dunno' how best to answer your question, but T-Tar, Kingdra, M-Gallade?, Marowak, Greninja, Gyrados, Gengar, Garchomp, Aegislash, and Gliscor are all definitely usable.

A few of the others you mentioned like Blastoise, may work on the right team.

Overa.l, solid taste, and you could easily build some good teams out of those Pokémon, without looking like, or being, a copy/paste smogonfag

You just summed up this whole thread. A bunch of insecure hipsters constantly obsessing about "smogon" and afraid to look like tryhards because they're all special snowflakes. You're the same people fapping to Pachirisu forgetting that a team is built with synergy in mind and to counter the metagame, not by "copy/pasting", unless you're stuck on sub 1200 ladder obv. The birds and the beasts felt like they had almost nothing in common, the lake trio always struck me as being too bland, and the muskedeers just don't do it for me. The Regis are pretty neat, but something about the genies just seems right to me. They feel like the proper middle ground between the more mundane non-legendary Pokemon and the physical god-tier box mascots.

T-Tar is one of my top 3 all time faves.
