I used mine in X for the first time. Bro as fuck. And frail as fuck.
http://www.smogon.com/dex/xy/pokemon/chandelureUse: Generally it's a special attacker with a lot of diverse types, but it's own typing and stats make it frail as fuck, so it would need support (Trick Room Slowbro, Screens, maybe even tail wind). I'd recommend it as a late-game sweeper to deal with a weakend team... unless they have moves that are SA against it. Can also block Pokemon using Rapid Spin, so feel free to use it with a Spikes/Stealth Rock setter-up-er. Works best in Doubles.
Ability:HA is Infiltrator which now goes past Substitute! Flash Fire is good if you have a Pokemon on your team which screams "hit me with fire!" (needs prediction though). Flame Body isn't great (it's a percentage chance on physical contact, and even then it's Def and Sp.Def are just as bad- considering it's typing).
Items:It's poor speed lends it to Choice Scarf, but if you don't like that try Air Balloon, Expert Belt, or Focus Sash (though there are better candidates for FS).
Damage Moves: Fire Blast, Overheat (It won't live long enough to have it's falling special attack be a problem), Shadow Ball, Energy Ball, Dark Pulse (less needed, but if your missing dark coverage; which you shouldn't, use this) and Hidden Power.
Stat altering Moves: Calm Mind (hard to set up with it)
Status effects/Situational Moves: Trick (if you think your opponent will switch to counter, give it a Choice Item), Will-O-Wisp, Taunt, Memento (predict, don't use it when the next hit will kill you, use it when your going to be at that stage next turn!), Pain Split (very situational, very tricky to pull off)
Other shit:
Air Balloon (or even Choice Scarf) + Flash Fire can be used to get Will-O-Wisp out early. Pointless if there isn't a physical sweeper on the field.
Mon to support it:
Flying Pokemon (avoid EQ), Fighting Types (Majority of Pokemon that counter Chandelure are weak to FIghting), Trick Room set up, Stealth Rock set up
