It took me an entire day to get through it on my Silver cartridge.

Then when I played it again I actually stopped right before the entry because I was too scared to go through there again but eventually made it without much problems.

I dunno if it was just me but it also seemed a lot easier in HGSS.

Back in the days i didnt know where is waterfall HM, and you had to have it to make it to Kanto. I saw a pokeball in the ice path, but then i thought it's just a random item, not worth my time. I spent literally days for searching Waterfall in the whole Johto, and depressed went for this pokeball.

I didn't have much trouble with it, of course the first time I had to move around and find the way out but it wasn't really a problem, just like most other caves... except one, I got somewhat lost on Mt. Mortar in Gold, I don't know how the hell I got that Tyrogue, but I never explored it again in Silver or Crystal. It was just too dark, boring and not really worth it. I did explore it in SS though.

I LOVE the Ice Path. It's gotta be one of my favorite locations from any Pokemon game. The music is 10/10, the puzzles were perfect, and the dark, cavey atmosphere was awesome.

It kinda felt like a mini Victory Road for the final Gym.
