>>21253658 It depends, if I was battling against an opponent with a mono-Dragon team and they brought Ampharos, I'd expect them to mega evolve it on the first turn of using it, otherwise it's not really a mono-team. If Masquerain got a Rock/Water mega I would not use it on a Bug team.

I wanted to breed a competitive HA Beedrill a few weeks ago but didn't bother because he doesn't get Drill Run in Gen 6. Now that he has a mega I kind of want to go for it.

Otherwise, I'm just going to go for the Swarm Beedrill because level ball looks better. I can't imagine a scenario where you wouldn't want to immediately mega evolve. Maybe if you were up against a relatively slow fire type, that you were afraid M beedrill couldn't KO, so you hoped to get lucky with a drill run crit, which is still not very likely without scope lens or focus energy

I wasn't a fan of it when I brought it over but Moon Ball Chatot looks nice now. I'm just glad I' done breeding those for now.
