I love it when low BST pokemon are made competitively viable through movepools/ability/typings/etc.

But adaptability doesn't fucking cut it. Especially when the adaptability boost is bug/poison. Mega Beedrill will make the ultimate in game bro, but that thing's going to sit at the bottom of RU at best

I don't really get this mindset so prevalent on /vp/. M-Beedrill is still going to suck but this time doubly, because it will be taking a spot which could be used on something actually decent.
When you can have only one mega on your team, why would you bother with something that is not even as good as a regular mon?

yeah it's a shame Pidgeot is pretty much confirmed for getting no other move to use, i mean look hoping GF would give Lopunny High Jump Kick to make use of its new fighting type or Heracross Bullet Seed and Rock Blast to make use of skill link but i guess you're right :,^(

Hp ice, kind of link how its used specifically for Garchomp and Salamence right? Its not like a neutral stab hurricane is stronger than a double effective HP

My Point is Mega Gyarados is still a good pokemon without a Dark STAB

Hell, Gyarados was a good OU Pokemon in ADV when he only had Erfquake and Double-Edge

STAB isn't everything when you could safely boost to +3 attack

This was the time when Nasty plot crobat was viable. And double edge is as strong as stab waterfall.
My point is that saying Pidgeot will get moves because it gets a mega is not guaranteed to be correct. Its a possibility but nothing more.
