Also, I find it better than most if not all starter megas and the only good ones have completely different utilities outside charizard Y which needs rock support

If by "everything" you mean frail-ish sweepers that are weak to Greninja's moves, sure.

This nigger is way overrated. It can only kill frail things it 2hkos or worse the balk sweepers and cant get walled by anything. It is NOT how people describe it, a pokemon to lead with and sweep it doesnt have neither the coverage or power or high powered moves or setup to do that.

At best it is a late game sweeper on e you've eliminated walls and priority threats.

And Protean still has certain drawbacks that Stance Change lacks, like leaving you vulnerable to various Priority moves after using certain attacks. Using Extrasensory on a Mega Venusaur only for Bisharp to switch in is a bitch.
