>>21261442With X/Y just recently coming out, I had excitedly ran into the Region of Kalos. I promised myself that I would catch myself a Bunnelby, in hopes that it would evolve into a beastly killer. Though the one I caught didn't have the desired Cheek Pouch, it did have a Brave nature, so I kept him. Naming him Webster, I continued on my journey with my Fenniken and he.
Then my first encounter with my rivals came. He battled fiercely, and I had watched as he leveled up. Suddenly, the screen went dark. Then Webster showed up. He was evolving. I grew more and more excited as the shining moment of evolution span around, going faster, and faster, and then....
Diggersby.
I didn't know what to say. What I felt like.
Disgusted? Horrified? Simply dumbstruck?
I was off to box him. I couldn't have him. No sir.
Then, another battle occured. I roll my eyes, and simply prepare to wipe out the opposing Pokemon with my Braxien. To my surprise, it was quickly knocked out. Okay. Remain calm...
Skiddo came next, and was dealt with faster. I was starting to panic. Then my eyes skim over to Diggersby. With a groan, I send him out. I was prepared to white out, going to have to go all the way back to the Pokecenter..."It was a critical hit!"
Huh? A critical hit? The opposing pokemon faints, and Webster glances back at me.
Hm. Maybe this isn't so bad.
He also gifted me with a Potion, as if it was a sign of him wanting to befriend me.
I will never regret the day I kept him on my team. Webster, (now changed to the more appropriate Webston) helped me throughout Kalos, collecting rare items, defeating gyms and even destroying the Mega Gardevoir on the Dithana's team. Webston is now my bro, and is now the proud father of a Huge Power Diggersby named Erik, whom I use on my competitive team.
