So, I haven't played pokemon since Gen III,
I saw someone claiming that a Charizard can now defeat a Blastoise on Pokemon X/Y, this guy says that a Mega-charizard Y can easily defeat a Mega Blastoise on a 1v1, I told him that a Charizard couldn't beat a Blastoise & he said it was possible because M-Charizard can use solarbeam, I told him that Blastoise could first use a hydro pump attack on the first turn of solarbeam & a hydro cannon attack on the second one, I supposed that M-Blastoise can survive a solarbeam, specially since the move doesn't get a type boost, he said that M-Charizard Y has a new ability that has similar effects to the sunny day move & that also diminishes the power of water moves, how much of this is true? I don't have the game, could someone please simulate that scenario or tell me who's the winner of that battle if you already tested it before? Also, is this the right place to ask?
