It took me 3 hours to start my download Pokemon Y at it's midnight release.

I refreshed the store for 3 hours through errors til it started downloading.

Now with a FREE demo, you can expect even more downloads, the eshop will surely crash hard.

No shit you stupid nigger, how many other people do you think were downloading the game across the ENTIRE world at the time?

If it was Microsoft, Sony or maybe even Valve in that situation they would have suffered the same way.
Personally though I still prefer Nintendo's shop to Sony's and Microsofts because it still performs slightly faster in those situations.
Or I just have an amazing connection.

I lost EVERYTHING I had in a move 4 years ago.

I don't know really, I heard about the demo and it just didn't really feel like something I needed to get.
I'd say that I'm growing out of pokemon but I'm still sinking hours into X&Y despite completing the dex and getting the maison trophies.

Reminds me of when I went for the shiny giratina thing. There was a huge ass line stretching all the way to the back and I just awkwardly walked pass all of them to the front and asked for the event to be turnde on.
