XY introduced 30 new mega evolutions.

So far ORAS has revealed 16, 18 if you include Lati@s which were never officially revealed previously. Do you think around 30 is the benchmark? How many more will we be getting?

But most importantly, will Mega Tropius happen?

I sincerely hope that Mega Tropius will happen. And still rooting for Mega Pelipper, Zangoose, Seviper, Claydol and Jynx. Jynx should have had an evolution though..

kinda worried that any hoenn mon that doesnt get a mega in ORAS will never get one since we already have so many hoenn megas in the first place

mega Tropius needs to be Mega Venusaur for scrubs.

Loads of bulk, decent sp. attack, though not enough to really count as an offensive mega.

If anything theyd either give it a "gimmick" ability like Mewtwo (Steadfast/Unnerve), possibly Pressure or Intimidate, or they'd give it some thematic ability to boost CRUSH GRIIIIIIPPP in some way.

I could see it getting Clear Body, since all the regis have that, as does Diancie

It's a moot point though, since we'll never get a Mega regigas. We'd get Primal with a unique ability, like a buffed No Guard that references it towing the continents into place.

At least 30 would be nice and I think the total megas in oras will be 25-35

What I'd like to see and what would be possible too:
Mega Milotic, Octillery, Ludicolo, Shiftry, Machamp, Golem, Tentacruel, Crobat, Primeape, Hitmontop, Lee and Chan gets one mega each, also maybe give another Fossil a mega.. Oh and mega Stoutland, Dragon/Grass/flying :^)

Also we don't have a mega from Unova yet? So one of those too please.

Pinsir is a worse Salamence, but thats different since Salamence is actually a better pinsir, since it came later.

Basically. Except it overrides immunities, too. And then give it a fighting type with Dynamic Punch off its 185-195 attack. Hell even without the fighting type, No guard DP would spend every Power point it has tearing assholes into every single team member.
