I guess you have a point. But yeah, I'm really scared. I actually enjoyed the feature; just thought it needed some extra work on GF's behalf.
In the most recent CoroCoro, there is a screenshot of a Pokemon center and I don't see a section for getting changed. Could this confirm that there is no customization?

I wouldn't have thought they would have dumped trainer customization.
In X/Y, they presented it in the game like a new standard of games to come. i.e. the way the Pokemon is divided into market and then changing room, the way every other town has a clothing shop; I think it'd be really stupid for them to not let ORAS inherit customization.
Plus, wouldn't they have considered how lame the PSS screen is going to look with no customization?

Yeah, but trainer customization is more of a standard than a temporal feature exclusive to a game's essence or storyline.
If we went off that logic, you might as well take away the mega evolutions too.

I remember seeing a video about some sort of confusion about a screenshot of the female protagonist's bag while she was riding a bike in the game.
The bag looked different than the yellow bag she was given by default, but then the people who discussed it concluded that it just looks different because she was riding a bike, so the bag was just angled down.
Given that Pokemon center screenshot from CoroCoro, it looks like we may not actually get customization, which is such a shame because a shit ton of people have been asking for that for ages, and for them to take it away...
OP, I wouldn't expect /vp/ to care about such a topic; the majority isn't particularly style-conscious.
