You need 90 base defense and max HP to survive a Jolly TTar's Stone Edge
100 base to survive Adamant Stone edge
107 to survive jolly mega Tar's SE
119 to survive Adamant mega Tars SE
143 to survive Jolly regular Tyranitar's Stone Edge at +1

Good luck getting 107 base Defense.

And thats assuming you have max HP investment, which wouldn't be very smart

And boosted TTar is faster than pidgeot, so it doesn't matter youre still dead. Also a +30 Sp Attack is a pretty good chance to OHKO and with SR, guaranteed KO. +15 is a slim chance to KO and a 4/5 chance after SR, so regardless of its stats it has at least some chance if it gets any boost whatsoever

That would be really, really difficult to pull off. It could potentially work in doubles, but it's unlikely Pidge would survive long enough.

Triples, though? You've got a good shot there. One mon uses Follow Me/Rage Powder/Ally Switch while another uses Sheer Cold/Horn Drill/Fissure, then Pidge uses Mimic.

Every gen 1 Normal that wasn't dual typed(which were only the fliers) got Electric attacks. They probably thought the flier's secondary STAB would be enough to cover most of everything at the time. They're probably going to change this today though. Pidgeot right now needs all the help it can get.
